The MedEd Conclave 2026, themed “Redefining Medical Education for Tomorrow’s Healthcare,” aims to serve as a national platform to advance and strengthen health professions education in an era of rapid technological and pedagogical transformation. Anchored in the principles of Advanced Teaching Learning Methods, the conclave will foreground the integration of blended learning models, learning management systems (LMS), and evidence-driven medical education research to enhance learner engagement, scalability, and outcomes.
Organised by the Centre of Excellence for Education of Health Professionals, SET Facility, AIIMS New Delhi, the conclave will place a strong focus on emerging innovations, exploring the role of simulation-based training, artificial intelligence, and digital learning ecosystems in strengthening clinical competence, decision-making, and patient-centered care. By bringing together educators, researchers, and policymakers, the event seeks to catalyze actionable strategies for building future-ready, technology-enabled, and research-informed medical education systems in India.

The Centre of Excellence (COE) for Health Professions Education is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of healthcare professionals through research-driven transformative educational approaches. The project focuses on integrating contemporary pedagogies, digital learning platforms, and simulation-based training into pre-service and in-service education, ensuring alignment with evolving healthcare needs. It also emphasizes faculty development, curriculum enhancement, and evidence generation to inform national-level reforms. By standardizing best practices and fostering a research-driven, technology-enabled learning ecosystem, the COE seeks to improve the quality, consistency, and real-world readiness of health professions education across India.
