The Centre of Excellence (COE) for the Education of Health Professionals is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of healthcare through transformative educational approaches. The project focuses on integrating contemporary pedagogies, digital learning platforms, and simulation-based training into pre-service and in-service education, ensuring alignment with evolving healthcare needs. It also emphasises faculty development, curriculum enhancement, and evidence generation to inform national-level reforms. By standardizing best practices and fostering a research-driven, technology-enabled learning ecosystem, the COE seeks to improve the quality, consistency, and real-world readiness of health professions education across India.
